How GoTenten works

We help users explore additional possibilities in their search without hitting dead ends.

More preferences. More guidance. More possibilities. Tell GoTenten what you need and what you’d like. It searches the stores you already shop and ranks what fits, so you never hit a page of zero results again.

  1. Tell it what you’re afterSearch the way you would on any site. Add sizes, budget, style, condition, whatever matters.
  2. Mark your must-havesPick the few things that truly rule an item out. Everything else just helps sort.
  3. Shop the best matches firstResults from your stores appear with Strong, Close and Possible matches first, and the tradeoffs on each. Check out on the store’s own site.

How results are ranked

Every item that meets your must-haves is shown, ranked against your preferences, with clear explanations of each tradeoff. Each result shows what it has, what it’s missing, and what the store didn’t list.

If a store doesn’t list a detail, GoTenten shows it as unknown instead of guessing.

What a must-have means

A must-have is a rule, not a hint. Nothing over your budget or in the wrong size is ever shown as a match. Near-misses are listed separately, with the reason.

An example: ten filters, zero results

A shopper searching for cargo pants chose ten filters, including size, a waist range, a $50+ price, a cut, a rise, a condition and tags. The store returned 0 results. With GoTenten, the same ten selections return a ranked list: Strong and Close matches first, each showing what it meets, what it misses, and what the listing doesn’t say.

Ten filters shouldn’t mean zero possibilities.

Your notes stay private

Notes like “for a camping trip” stay with you. They never feed ranking and are never shared with a store.
